MS, RDN, CDN, CDCES
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m an Asian-American Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and I received my Masters in Nutrition from Hunter College in NYC. I’m passionate about simplifying food and nutrition, helping people find a healthy & happy lifestyle that works for them without restriction, guilt or frustration.
I work with individuals and groups to dismantle diet culture, break the cycle of disordered eating, and simplify our relationship with food and nutrition. I emphasize inclusive care and am dedicated to creating a safe space for individuals in marginalized communities.
As a CDCES, I also help people living with diabetes to help manage their blood sugar levels with gentle nutrition, tuning in to what their bodies need in a sustainable way for long-term success.
My specialties include eating disorder & disordered eating recovery, diabetes management and child & family nutrition. My experience ranges from individual and group nutrition counseling, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for eating disorders, hospitals and clinical facilities, as well as the health tech industry.
I’m located in Los Angeles and am also licensed to see clients in New York and Washington state. Please inquire if you are interested in nutrition counseling from a state not listed above. I see all clients via telehealth at this time.

Hey there! I'm Amanda, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, who believes in putting humans first. My approach is all about creating a safe, compassionate space where nutrition meets genuine care.
I'm passionate about challenging traditional diet culture and supporting individuals through a trauma-sensitive, weight-inclusive lens. My goal isn't to push another one-size-fits-all diet plan, but to help you build a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food and your body.
My own journey of self-acceptance sparked my mission to support others. I've learned that true health isn't about numbers on a scale, but about understanding and honoring your unique story.
With experience working across diverse settings—from veterans' healthcare to eating disorder recovery programs—I've seen firsthand how personalized, compassionate nutrition guidance can transform lives.
My background includes a B.S. in Nutrition from Arizona State University and a Dietetic Internship with the VA of Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. But more importantly, I bring empathy, understanding, and a commitment to your individual wellness journey.
Let's rewrite your nutrition story—together.
